WLGSL provides recreational and travel softball opportunities for girls in Western Loudoun ages 5-18

My my My my
Purcellville Christmas Parade

The Western Loudoun Girls Softball League is excited to announce that we will once again participate in the Purcellville Christmas Parade!!

The Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14th at noon. This is one of the largest events held in Purcellville throughout the year and we would like to invite our players to ride on the WLGSL floats!

We will meet by Loudoun Valley High School (340 N Maple Aveat around 11:00am to catch up with friends, drink some hot chocolate, eat some donut holes, and get ready for the parade. Please wear your WLGSL jersey or spirit wear and add any holiday accessories you choose (hatbells, etc.).

For those that have participated in the past, there are some major changes this year. The main change is that throwing of candy from floats is strictly prohibited!!

The league will still be handing out candy, but we can only designate a handful of adults to walk the parade route and hand out candy directly to kids. The girls are welcome to bring candy for their own consumption, but absolutely no throwing of it!

The parade route is changed again this year too. The parade will start at Valley HS around noon and finish at Emerick Elementary around 1:30.
